Positive Behavior Guidance:
During this training, we’ll be discussing strength-based strategies for interpreting and responding to our children’s big behaviors. We’ll discuss how to interpret behavior as communication, as well as proactive and reactive tools for supporting our children’s behavior goals. Also, we will introduce some helpful Functional Behavioral Analysis concepts.
Potty training can be one of the most challenging aspects of raising a young child. During this training, we aim to create a clearer picture of what potty training developmental “readiness” looks like. We will also share tools and strategies parents can implement to create an environment for success. Lastly, we’ll discuss ways to create consistency, through collaboration with your child’s school and other caregivers.

Fostering Healthy Parent-child Relationships:
During this training, we’ll be focusing on building stronger bonds with our children through responsive caregiving. We will share tools that encourage positive interactions with your child by being sensitive and attuned to their needs while providing appropriate support and guidance.
Promoting Independence and Healthy Life Skills:
During this training, we will share tools for fostering your child’s sense of independence, while supporting the development of their independent life skills, This includes tips for normalizing your child taking ownership of simple household tasks such as hygiene, cleanup time, and some basic responsibilities.
Consistency equals security for young children, and during this training, we will review how to establish healthy and sustainable family routines. We will offer tools aimed at helping you maintain these routines and strategies to elevate the quality of your time with your children.
Setting and Keeping Healthy Routines:
During our time together we will review the developmental benefits of uninterrupted play and why every child developmentally needs an outlet for their play urges. We will provide strategies for developing an environment that fosters positive play, and tools for engaging in your child’s play.
Creating Positive Play Scapes:
Throughout this training, we will highlight the relationship between a child’s art and their learning. We will unpack the benefits of open-ended art over close-ended art, and we’ll talk about how to create a positive and manageable art center at home. Additionally, we’ll share examples of what language you can use with your child to foster learning as they participate in art activities.
Art is Learning & Learning is Art:
As caregivers, it is our job to help our children expand their skills for expressing their emotions, and build their self-esteem and confidence. During this training, we will share strategies for developing a growth mindset within our children and offer specific language a parent or teacher could use to elevate their view of who they are and their skills.
Promoting a Child’s Positive View of Themselves & Their Abilities
Developing resilience in young children through teaching coping skills for challenging situations, encouraging a growth mindset, positive self-talk, and encouraging critical thinking. We’ll also discuss supporting independence while navigating safe risky play.
